As a single man, when I moved into my new home recently, I was overwhelmed with the number of things to take care off. I’ve never been great at making choices, and I just don’t have time to run to a million stores, search online, purchase things, and coordinate all the little things involved in furnishing and decorating a house. Truus instantly understood what needed to be done, broke it down for me in manageable steps, and took care of everything one step at a time. She always made sure to involve me and keep me in the loop, but only for the fun things, like deciding the colour of the couch. All the other stuff, like deciding on square or rectangle pillows, finding a garbage bin that would fit inside my kitchen drawer, or figuring out how many plant pots to buy, she just did all by herself. If it had been just me by myself, I’d still be sitting on the floor:)
